Industrial energy / Utilities

We ensure efficient, stable, and secure communication and data transmission between the components of a distributed infrastructure and central, control, and billing systems. We enable remote, centralized management of the entire population of communication devices within an operator’s infrastructure, such as in Smart Grid networks.

The comander platform comprises integrated devices and software, creating a flexible system for utility sector enterprises. It simplifies and enhances the management of communication infrastructure within distribution networks.

Reliable Data Transmission to SCADA Systems (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition)

We deliver solutions that ensure stable and secure data transmission in SCADA-class systems. Comander devices facilitate communication using the latest radio transmission technologies (including LTE/5G) and link redundancy to guarantee proper service standards.

Efficient Data Transmission to HES (Head End System) and MDM (Meter Data Management)

We design and supply devices that transmit metering data to central systems of distribution companies. We provide two-way communication between meters and central systems, enabling remote management of measuring devices (e.g., tariff changes and meter configurations).

Comander modems can be easily implemented in existing infrastructure, accommodating electronic meters of any type.

Dedicated Communication Solutions for Energy Meters and Other Measuring Devices

We collaborate with manufacturers of measuring devices – together, we develop products from scratch that precisely meet specific structural and functional requirements.

Integrating measuring and communication functions in one device makes it cost-effective, technologically optimal, and easy to install.

Monitoring and Diagnostics of Large, Distributed Populations of Transmission Devices

We ensure effective management of the entire population of communication devices using the expert system amiGO, which not only provides provisioning and integration of new devices into the network but also monitors device availability, their proper functioning, and cellular network parameters for transmission stability. An extensive reporting system allows for ongoing diagnostics of the infrastructure and rapid response to potential failures.

The system supports communication devices from any brand, utilizing commonly used protocols (SNMP, LwM2M, MQTT) or those developed specifically with certain vendors.

smartMETERS

An application that provides data for the analysis of daily utility consumption patterns. This enables the optimization of consumption distribution with respect to tariffs and charges.

smartMETERS collects metering data from consumer meters and stores it in a database on ANDRA’s servers. This process is remote and automated via the GSM network. Reports generated from the collected data allow for the determination of consumption profiles and subsequent modifications. This helps reduce costs, such as capacity charges—both in terms of energy consumption levels and consumption distribution throughout the day. Additionally, analyzing reactive power consumption allows for the implementation of reactive power compensation systems in electrical installations.

Metering data, analyses, and reports are available in the user account on the website. Access to the portal is possible from any location with internet connectivity and from any device—PC, tablet, or phone. The system is simple and intuitive to use.

smartMETERS enables:

  • Meter readings
  • Collection of read data in a database
  • Visualization of the consumption of a given medium (electricity, gas, water, heat, etc.)
  • Visualization of 15-minute power intervals (for electricity only)
  • Visualization of other types of data provided by the devices being read

What can you do with the data and reports from the smartMETERS system?

  • Perform monthly settlements with tenants—exact meter readings at 00:00 on the first of each month
  • Balance consumption for the entire facility or for a node
  • Forecast energy consumption
  • Forecast power demand (electricity)
  • Monitor exceedances of predefined values (e.g., contracted power)
  • Maintain power limits during declared energy supply stages (electricity)
  • Estimate capacity charges in accordance with the new tariff (for large consumers)
  • Make decisions regarding potential load shedding
  • Integrate with other systems, such as BMS or accounting systems, for data exchange
